I hope you’re all having a good weekend. The sun is shining here. It’s almost-but-not-quite nice enough to sit out with a book.
This week I have returned to my book blog, which I am really pleased about. I miss it when work conspires to keep me away. I posted two blog posts.
The first was Trying to have an away day, about our failed attempts to have a day out, which also included updates on my latest book purchases. The second post was my Friday read, a post I intend to do every week. I’d love to hear what you’re reading too.
After a very slow start to reading in 2016, things are starting to pick up. I finished Susan Elliot Wright’s The Things We Never Said, which I really enjoyed.
Hopefully, now I can get back on track with my reading. What with studying for a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, work, looking after my horses, and running competitively, it’s been difficult to keep up with anything, never mind reading and blogging about reading. Things were starting to feel too overwhelming. To help, I vowed to stop watching television and I’m pleased to say it’s working. My reading and book blogging is important, so it has to be a priority.
What about your week? Do you have any book recommendations?
